New Blog: The HTLC Volunteer Impact in 2025 - Sundays

As we cross into 2026, we want to recognize and thank all the volunteers that have helped Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (HTLC) with it's mission and outreach this past year. Each week we will focus on a different area of impact, focusing on these three areas: Sundays, Daily, and Special Events.

This Week - Sundays

This week's focus is on our volunteers that help with our weekly Sunday worship. Take some time to read our new blog The HTLC Volunteer Impact in 2025 - Sundays. Thank you to everyone who volunteers their time and resources each Sunday at HTLC to make Sunday worship happen! We can't wait to continue with our HTLC volunteers in the new year!

VBS Planning Meeting

Join us immediately after the service on Sunday, January 18th for an initial VBS planning meeting. Last summer's program was a success with 25-40 people at each session. Attendees enjoyed fellowship, a potluck dinner, and Bible study sessions for both kids and adults. Help us to build on this momentum in 2026. Reach out to McKenzie Temme for more information. 

Here Comes the Girl Scouts!

Join the HTLC Girl Scouts at Fellowship after the service on Sunday, February 1st for Girl Scout cookies. Boxes of cookies will also be available for purchase. 

A Reminder to Committees: Annual Report for 2025

As a reminder to committees, please try to turn in your annual report for 2025 by Sunday, February 1st by emailing them to the office.

The Wired Word

Join us on Sundays, at 9 A.M. in the Narthex on the first floor for The Wired Word. This weekly Bible study curriculum connects the Bible to current events, open to everyone, seventh grade and older. 

Topic for Sunday, January, 11: "The Architects of AI" Are Person of the Year

When TIME magazine recently named its annual "person of the year," it selected an entire group of people: "The Architects of AI." Artificial intelligence (AI)  is having a profound effect on our economy, but many people are struggling to trust it. Given that AI is offering information to so many of us via the internet, this week’s class focus on truth, falsehood and the challenge of trusting technology.
